Yesterday was a relaxing day with my son. One thing we did was watch a bunch of movies and just spend some good ol' time chatting and laughing about what we saw. We watched a dud, Legion, it was the old case of the previews were much better than the entire flick case. And yes, I did fall asleep during it. But then there were the episodes of 24, now that's quality and my kind of viewing! Not to mention it's pretty easy on my eyes--yes, I dig Kiefer Sutherland and action movies in general.
But what really set the day off as one of those truly cool days was the laughter. My son had never watched Naked Gun. So yesterday was his introduction to Frank Drebin, or the late, great actor Leslie Nielsen. Kyle has been cultured to see Airplane. After all, I must introduce my son to "quality" movies. I wouldn't be a good mom if I didn't!

So my highlight of the day was sharing the movie and, most of all, listening to my 15-year-old fav dude laugh and laugh and laugh. While I'll enjoyed the movie too, listening to my son let loose and laugh was the icing on the cake for a great day with my son. A day that I won't soon forget. A day that I will always treasure.
